Damage Waiver

As a guest (the person registered and all persons sharing the same rental unit) of MB Resort Vacations LLC., your reservation includes a damage waiver. You will not be obligated to pay for accidental loss or damage to the contents of the rental unit you occupy. The damage waiver is limited to a maximum total of $2,000 damage payment per stay and is applicable for the entire stay (from check-in to check-out).

Damage waiver coverage does not include:

  • Acts of God
  • Intentional acts of a guest
  • Gross negligence or willful conduct
  • Any cause, if the guest does not report the damage to MB Resort Vacations LLC. staff in writing by the time they check out of the unit
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by a pet or other animal brought onto the premises by guest
  • The waiver applies only to direct physical loss or damage to a covered property. It does not cover loss of use of such property.
  • The waiver does not apply for loss or damage to any property owned by or brought onto the premises by a guest.

Definitions

  1. “Covered Guest” – All registered guests and all persons booked to share the same unit or accommodations, who have paid the required Damage Waiver.
  2. “Stay” – The stay in a MB Resort Vacations LLC unit from the date of a Covered Guest’s check-in to the date of check-out.

 

Damage Waiver
Effective Term

  1. The damage waiver becomes effective upon check-in to a MB Resort Vacations LLC. unit.
  2. All benefits terminate at the end of the stay.

Damage Waiver fees are non-refundable.

 

Reporting Damage

All damage must be reported promptly to MB Resort Vacations LLC staff at the property. Such staff will have the sole authority to determine the extent of repairs necessary. The guest must report in writing any loss or damage to the unit or its contents to MB Resort Vacations LLC management staff promptly or the damage waiver is void. Representatives of MB Resort Vacations LLC have ultimate administrative authority. Arbitration is required prior to litigation. The prevailing party in any arbitration or litigation shall be entitled to recover any/or reimbursement of all fees in connection with same.

 

Important Notice

Payments for a damage waiver will not be accepted after the guest has entered the unit for the beginning of his or her stay.
