Homeowner Use of Condos

It has always been our position that the condo belongs to the owner and they control it. Our owners are welcome to use their condos at anytime and as often as they wish. The only restriction, of course, would be due to its unavailability as a result of a vacation rental we are unable to relocate. We welcome you to the Resort and hope you enjoy your stay.

  • Condo Preparations – In order to appreciate our policies as they relate to homeowner use, you must understand our guidelines for renting condos. Beginning on March 20th and continuing through Labor Day, all condos are “made up” with linen and towels, etc. after each departure. This is done so that every condo can be rented at a moments notice at anytime. After Labor Day, when the demand is greatly diminished, the condos are left without linen so that the potential guest may save money by providing their own. (As condo rates lessen, the linen rental becomes proportionately greater.) Therefore, if you chose to use your condo “in-season”, it will already be made up.

  • Prevailing Rates –Our ‘Linen Rental” includes sheets, pillowcases, towels, washcloths, bath mats and kitchen towels. The units are “made up” and the linen charge is $50 per rental period (3BRs-$70). Departure cleaning is $50 for a one bedroom or studio, $60 for a two bedroom and $70 for a 3 bedroom unit. These charges are the responsibility of the occupant .

  • Off-Season Use - Labor Day until March 20th

    If you reserve your unit for your personal use or for that of your friends, relatives, or others, check in at our office is required. (S.C. law requires registration of all occupants). A $30 reservation/check-in fee and departure cleaning charges will apply. Use of our linen is optional. Your guest must pay us these fees at check-in unless the fees have been prepaid provided that we have your personal credit card on file.

    Note to Owners - If your reservation is for your own personal use and you stop by our office and register during your stay the $30 reservation/check-in fee and linen charges (for 2 sets of linen each year) will be waived. Departure cleaning charges (at the prevailing rates) are mandatory at all times. You may register at anytime during your stay. Failure to stop in and register will result in your being responsible for all charges. No exceptions and no refunds.

  • In-Season Use – March 20th until Labor Day
